Historic service program completed at Pashupati, world record set by Lions Governor Parbati Kharel

 

Kathmandu, Rajan Thapa, July 4 –
A grand social service program was completed today in the Pashupatinath Temple premises with a unique coordination of religious, social and health services. In the program conducted under the leadership of Lion Parbati Kharel Pandey PMJF, Governor of Lions International District 325 I, important tasks such as tripartite collaboration (MOU), free health services and food distribution were completed simultaneously. As a special achievement of the tripartite MOU program for the first time at a religious place, Governor Parbati Kharel Pandey signed a partnership agreement (MOU) with Om Samaj Dental Hospital and Green City Hospital. This initiative, which was launched for the first time by formally collaborating with a health institution at a religious place, is considered a historical record.

Free health services for devotees
Hundreds of devotees have received services in the free health camps organized under the program. Services including dental, pulse check-up, first aid were provided in the camp. 10 Lions Clubs jointly participated in the food distribution program organized in coordination with Lions Club of Kathmandu Temple Ganesh. Hundreds of families were provided with essential food items by the participating clubs in the program.

The participants believe that this program, implemented by implementing the Lions Club slogan of “Serve, Lead & Rise”, has tried to present the religious place as a center of social responsibility. It is said that the leadership of Governor Kharel, institutional cooperation and dedication of volunteers have made this program inspiring. This program, which is a confluence of religious devotion, social service and health awareness, has given a new dimension to the Lions campaign. Sibir Director Thapa has expressed his confidence that such collaborations will move forward in a stronger manner in the future. Similarly, at the time of signing the MOU, the Om Samaj Dental Banasthali Branch Chief said that this is our first record as well. Similarly, the Market Chief of Green City Hospital, Shri Krishna Bidari, also said that our hospital has also set a first record.
